ADHESIVE TECHNIC
ADHESIVE INSTEAD OF DRILLING AND WELDING
The innovative fastening of hammocks by our adhesive technology, replaces the previous welding and drilling. In cooperation with Muehlhan AG, the bonding technology was developed and perfected. Tested and certified by the Fraunhofer Institute.

The result:

A stainless steel plate is applied directly to the surface (uncoated or coated) with the adhesive. The load capacity is 2.5 tons and the hammocks can be used after only 8 hours.

Over 15 years ago, a cruise company commissioned us to develop a hammock for use in balcony cabins. The specifications for implementation were very specific and required an individual solution.
The requirements for individuality in size, load-bearing capacity, material, colors and installation conditions are becoming increasingly demanding.

The CRAZYCHAIR team has installed over 12,000 hammocks on board of 18 cruise ships in recent years. On very small balconies, suite verandas, luxury suites and in public areas such as sun decks, spa islands and crew decks.

We know no compromise when it comes to material selection and processing. It is our basis for durable, hard-wearing and safe products.
We produce in Germany
and have all details in view at all times thanks to seamless PDM.
However, we also know that some parts are subject to normal, calculable wear due to intensive use in public service and sometimes adverse conditions.

That is why we offer our SAFETY CHECK. During the running operation all hammocks/hanging chairs are checked, fastening shackles with suspension ropes are exchanged and everything is documented and photographed.

CLEANING
WELL-MAINTAINED PRODUCTS ARE THE FINGERPRINT OF YOUR COMPANY
We want to produce only high quality products that look like new even after years.
Even though the material used is very easy to care for, the stress caused by eg: UV, salt water and intensive use is particularly high.
​
Well-groomed products last longer, look better and guests will perceive it positively.
​
Technical condition, incl. ropes and fastenings are evaluated and if necessary, replaced directly.
Cleaning and security as a total package, without guest inconvenience and to relieve the housekeeping routine.
If you do not want to do the cleaning yourself, we recommend intensive care after two years, depending on the use and conditions.
Our experienced team knows its way around and carries out cleaning on products while they are in operation.
